What is a Cezanne smoothing treatment?
Cezanne is a treatment that smooths the hair with a blend of keratin, sericin, glycolic Acid, vitamins, botanicals, amino acids and Aloe Vera & contains none of the nasties including No formaldehyde .
It leaves the hair softer, easier to style & with less frizz.
How does it work?
It works with the main active ingredients of glycolic acid and sericin (a natural silk) that penetrate the hair shaft leaving your hair smooth.
Rather than laying flat on top of the hair, this magical mixture actually wraps itself around individual strands providing an incredible smoothness. One of the best parts of this formula? There are no nasty smells.
What’s the process?
First you will have a consultation with one of our Cezanne trained experts at Coco de Luma to make sure the treatment is right for you.
Then we will wash your hair with Cezanne Clarifying Shampoo and dry it. Then we will carefully apply the treatment to all of your hair. There is no need to use a cap and heat with this product.
There are three versions of the Cezanne treatment: the Classic, the Blonde and Express.
The Classic & Blonde are a longer lasting treatment and remain on your hair for 30 minutes while the Express treatment stays on for only 15mins, before getting carefully rinsed out.
We then completely blow-dry your hair on a medium heat, and then flat iron it with a low heat thoroughly.
What are the benefits over traditional methods?
Unlike regular keratin treatments, there’s no need to put restrictions on yourself for up to three weeks afterwards. If you want, you could even get your hair coloured that very same day! No more waiting 72 hours before going to the gym, washing your hair, putting clips in.
What results can I expect?
Of course, none of this matters if your hair doesn’t look good afterwards! The Classic & Blonde Cezanne treatment creates a smoother, healthier, more manageable hair for anywhere between three and five months depending on your hair type, aftercare & lifestyle. While the Express treatment lasts from 4 – 6 weeks.
