Social media is a great way to see pics of their work, some behind the scenes action of the salon & even if their ‘vibe’ ties in with yours. Do your research & if you find a pic on their insta page of something you like, show them. Hairdressers love to be shown pics of what you like & even what you don’t like to get a better understanding of what you are after.
Do they keep you waiting?
Ever been to the salon & had to wait. Now sometimes things go wrong, a stylist is sick & chaos can ensue, the same as any business but it’s how your treated when this happens that makes the difference. If you have arrived on time for your appointment & have not been acknowledged or had to wait for more than 30 mins or more, perhaps they don’t deserve your service.
